To Create a Virtual Item

The Virtual Item form opens in the Content pane.

Fill out the form as needed.
The following fields are required:

Description
Setting Description Virtual Item Code A tracking number that uniquely identifies each virtual item. Use the Auto Number icon to generate the next available number either from the Virtual Item Mask defined in System Defaults or from a manually entered mask. Description A text field to define a description for the virtual item. Class Optionally, virtual items can be classified in the same way as other AssetWise objects. Selecting the Class Lookup icon provides a list of predefined virtual item class categories from which to choose. Once selected the system will display a class shortcut code followed by the full class name. -
Click the Add icon
in the action bar.
The virtual item is added to the community. You can now define additional relationships for the virtual item. The virtual item description displays in tab at the top of the Content pane and the Virtual Item Groups topic displays on the Content pane.
